Rihanna - California King Bed
Rihanna, real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has quickly became a world-renouned artist. This song is her forth single release from her fifth album: "Loud".
The music video reflects the song. Which seems to be about being in a relationship, and feeling really far away from the person you love.
The music video has this GIANT bed, which is a direct link with the song, and it also shows that Rihanna is a good actress, as the song was not written by her, but maybe she can relate to it and therefore was able to show a really great music video.
The one thing that does annoy me about this video is that one piece of Rihanna's hair that is clearly in the wrong place. I reckon it was re-shot after she lay in the grass, but I just want to move it out of her way everytime I see this video. :)
I really like the guitar solos. I don't know why, but I've gained a thing for guitar solos, probably "Orianthi"'s influence, but who knows. I just think it relates perfectly with the song and suits it. Could this show a change in music with having more guitarists play solos in songs? I sure hope so.
This video has over 35 million views, and it definitely will get loads more the longer it stays in the chart. A lot of people likethis video, and also like the song especially as it Rihanna puts emotion into the song and shows her vocal ability off.
Rihanna has sung many different songs from R'n'B to dance/club anthems, she even featured on a song with Slash (from Guns 'n' Roses) so she can literally sing ANYTHING, it will be interesting to see what the next few years brings along :)
