Basshunter - All I Ever Wanted

This is Basshunter's second single to be released in the UK. Real name Jonas Altberg, he is a singer-songwriter and DJ, and is currently getting ready to release a new single and album. Rumours suggest his new single is called "Calling Time", but will it carry on this unstoppable video that seems to link most of his music videos together? Or is Aylar Lie too busy to carry them on? And if it doesn't continue the story then are we going to be upset because of the way "I Promised Myself" was left.

This song is about always hoping that the person you are with is always happy, I really like the song as it's got a really nice meaning, but then again it could be because of the video as well. The song was written by Jonas, so there must be a lot of meaning behind the song. And he does sing it really well. The song peaked at number 2 on the UK chart, but did get number one in Ireland. It also re-entered the charts in 2010 at number 98, so it does suggest that people still like it now.

Basshunter's music videos have recently become a phenomenon. There is no other music videos that link with one another and creates a whole story, some consider it being like a soap-opera, and they are right, leaving us excited to find out what the next part of the story will be all about. So far we have an awful ending with "I Promised Myself" that left me gasping the first time I saw it. I am eager to find out what will happen next, but will we ever find out?

So RECAP..... In "Now You're Gone" Aylar Lie and Lucas Thorheim broke up by text, their friends decide to try and take their minds off the brake up and suggest they go clubbing. Aylar and Lucas end up going to the same club, Aylar then texts Lucas to join her on the dance floor, and they end up getting back together.

The story continues, they go on holiday in Spain, and they are enjoying themselves with water fights and the sun, and just having a joke and a laugh. They decide to go clubbing, and yet again Basshunter is the DJ. However while Aylar and Lucas are dancing there is this girl who keeps a close eye on them and are trying to join them. Later on, Aylar notices Lucas talking to this girl and storms off. We see Aylar sitting on the beach watching a video of Lucas. She gets a message from Lucas saying that the girl is a mate's girlfriend, then that's when the video ends...

It's a little bit of a cliffhanger because you don't know whether they will stay together or not. I bet Aylar and Lucas had great fun with the water pistols and stuff, and I bet Lucas enjoyed the bit when Aylar was choosing which dress to wear... I think it represents a lot of fun, they are both happy which coincides with the song, although the ending may not fit as good, but then again others may think so.

Overall this is another great music video and another amazing song, it's a shame it never got to number one as it clearly deserves it. I like the fact that most of Basshunter's music videos lead on from one another, and I definitely can't wait for the next one.
